Soothing and wholesome. An easy, light, and crowd pleasing dessert. I’ve used this recipe over and over and over…. I first got it from one of my students at West Chicago who was taking ‘home ec’ (or whatever it was called back then) and he brought me a piece; so, of course, I had to get the recipe. Voila!

Method
FOR PIZZA CRUST
- Using an electric mixer, cream brown sugar, shortening, butter, and egg together.
- Slowly add soda, vinegar, baking powder, and flour. Mixwell
- Press into a pizza or similar (small jelly roll) pan. Crimp sides.
- Bake for app 12 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven
- Let pizza crust cool.
FOR PIZZA “SAUCE”
Cream together until very smooth using an electric mixer and spread over pizza crust.

Cut fruit into bite size (pretty small) pieces and arrange (mostly I just drop everything on) on top of the sauce. If you are not eating right away, refrigerate before serving.
